InnoGear Real Bamboo Essential Oil Diffuser

You’d think that because I’m sensitive to fragrance that I wouldn’t want any smells in my home. Well, that’s not true, I enjoy nice smells too!

I was recently introduced to this product, and one of the reviewers mentioned a migraine blend that relaxes you and can help soothe your migraine and I HAD TO try it out. If you suffer from migraines, you’ll understand. I looked and looked and I can’t find the original comment I got the recommendation from to give them credit, I must not have added it to my Pinterest like I thought I did.

Essentially I use equal parts of Lavander and Peppermint Essential Oils. The chamber is a good size so I do one drop apiece of the EOs, it can be overwhelming for me (being the human bloodhound as my best friend calls me) but I can always add more water as needed. An alternative idea is to find yourself a glass bottle you can add the EOs, EOs cannot be used in plastic containers, and then the water and store them in a dark place (in a closed cabinet or drawer) then pull it out when you need to refill.

I find the blend of these two essential oils calms me down a lot and it does help my migraines a bit, although it’s not a cure for them.

I do have one concern with this item and it’s that the top doesn’t screw on. It is nice and convenient that the lid comes right off, but if you have little ones that love the changing lights they may be inclined to want to touch or pull it. If they do that, then it can spill on the floor and possibly be a fire hazard. Now I don’t have kids in my home, but I do want you to know so you can put it far enough away from little hands to avoid any potential disasters.

iProven Forehead and Ear Thermometer

Do you have a baby, toddler, or just an adult that’s totally a baby when they are sick? While I’m ill more often than my spouse, if he even gets the sniffles he can be a big grump.  When you don’t feel well you don’t want to be poked and prodded, you just want to lie down and feel better.

Luckily, now you can check on your little ones without having to disturb them with this forehead and ear thermometer. I personally use this on my forehead and the readings only take a second, yes I mean a literal second.

Gone, are the days of having to find the sanitary wraps for the oral thermometer, wondering where on earth the last person that used it put them. Then you’ve got to get the right placement of the thermometer under your tongue and having to wait anywhere from a minute or two for it to finally figure out your temperature. Plus you’ve got to wonder if it read right or not because you purchased the cheapest one at the drugstore like I did, of course.

From my understanding, there are also audio and visual notifications if the person’s temperature is high as well, but in my case, luckily enough, I haven’t been ill since I got it so I can’t vouch for this myself.
