8 slices of Smoked Ham
2 Tbsp Olive Oil
2 Tbsp Flour
1/4 tsp Salt (or to taste)
1/4 bag Frozen Corn
1/4 bag Frozen Peas
1 1/2 cup 2% Milk
Add frozen corn & peas to a heat-safe container and add 3 Tbsp water (minimum) or just add water.
Microwave for 4 minutes.
Chop ham and add olive oil to the pan, saute until golden brown.
Measure out flour and salt.
Start toasting bread.
Add flour and salt within a minute of adding the frozen corn and peas.
When frozen veggies are cooked, add to the pan.
Stir in 1 1/2 milk and cook over high heat until bubbly.
Serve on toasted bread.
Note: I’m not a veggie fan myself, but in this recipe, I normally double up the recipe with the exception of the ham. I love this recipe and I’ll eat it for breakfast, lunch or dinner! Even Kayla likes it, yes I feed a small scoop to the dog. She’s eating veggies!
